Our Australian Financial Services Licensee, ShareX Pty Ltd, has professional indemnity insurance for the financial products and services we may provide to you. This is in line with section 912B of the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth) and ASIC Regulatory Guide 126. From the date our Financial Services Guide comes into force, the insurance covers claims relating to the conduct of our present and past representatives.

We may rely on this insurance to cover claims for compensation made by clients or past clients. The insurance is between ShareX Pty Ltd and their insurer. The insurance provides cover even if one of our representatives no longer acts or works for us.

If we are liable to pay compensation ourselves, we will usually do so out of our existing cash flow and other resources.
